Version 6 and Windows still won't restore to set resolution after program exit?

I have Parallels set to change the resolution in OSX so that when in Windows fullscreen programs that call for less than native resolution can show fullscreen. This is a very common thing to do. However when I quit the particular app that requested the change my default Windows resolution is not restored. (1920x1200)

You can tell Parallels is having to unplug the display and replug it when it does resolution switches. Definitely some shenanigans going on there.

Any fix for this?
