Hi there, I wanted to install a "HotWheels" game in XP on my 2-yr-old iMac (2 GB RAM with 1100 MB apportioned in Parallels). The game won't install because it tells me that my Video card doesn't have the Shader 2.0. So, how do I find out what kind of video card I have on this iMac (2.0 MHz Intel Duo). Running Leopard 10.5.4 and just upgraded to Windows XP SP3 in the past few days (previous attempts failed in the past few months but this one had no issues whatsoever). If my system doesn't support this Shader 2.0 then is it likely the software can never be installed? Or, can I obtain video driver updates in XP only once I know what video information I am looking for? I have another (Microsoft) game that also refuses to install called Viva Pinata. Neither of these two games will install anywhere, not even on a five-year-old Windows XP dedicated PC. Suspect that again the video card is not supported even though updates have been applied. Suggestions on where to find the info I need on the video card on my iMac and I would also appreciate any responses on whether either of these installs if they work is likely to cause complications in the future. Lastly, if I used BootCamp would I have more success in installing this Windows software? Thanks so much for your time. Lynn
Please check games compatibility on http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/features/3d/ and do not install any video drivers in Parallels Desktop you can damage system We are planning to add more games in PD 4
