Virtual machine controls CD drive, Mac wont register

    Hi,

    I recently upgraded to 4.0 and it is great overall. But today I inserted a data DVD disk and my VM recognized it before the mac, and the mac never recognized it. I could not eject it with my keyboard eject button either. I had to do everything through the VM. When I shut the VM down then the mac automatically detected everything and worked normally. Is there a way to change this so that either both OS's recognize disks or can I at least give preference to Mac OSX?

    I am running XP pro service pack 2 and Mac 10.5.6

    When VM is running click on CD icon in the system tray,select disconnect
