I've been attempting to get the 4.0 upgrade to work correctly for several days. Was running 3.0 (should have stayed with it) and when I attempted to upgrade to 4.0, it did not recognize my previous virtual machine (even though I saved it). It appears it would not convert my 3.0. So I gave up after several tries and thought I would try installing 4.0 with a fresh install of Windows XP. Lo and behold it worked (at least for a couple of days). Now for the past two days when I attempt to start, it goes into "virtual machine is being upgraded" setup mode. It basically completes step 1 of 4, and then a popup window appears that states "You need to manually continue the upgrade process". I click the OK button and windows starts up. Needless to say very time consuming and a pain in the ass whenever I need to start windows. Strange that it worked fine for two days and now for the past two days it does the upgrade mess. Searched the forum and could not find an answer. Any help would be appreciated.
Spikeman, in addition to the Help -> Report a problem ID, please, send attach here your VM configuration file (*.pvs located in VM bundle). Thanks, Max
