I'm upgrading a Version 3 install of Windows XP.
Installations looks like it was successful.
I started PM4 and started to convert my VM image (Windows XP)
The first problem I had was that the VM upgrader could not rename it install VM directory (at the time was /Library/Parallels/winxp.

I copied all the VM files to /Users/craig/Parallels/winxp and restarted conversion.
Conversion ran swimmingly and I went out to dinner (got to spend time with the wife or she gets upset :p

Came back, screen saver was on, entered pw and saw VM conversion was on step 4. 90 minutes later it is STILL on step 4.

using TOP, I see that prl_vm_app and prl_client are still running and are taking varying amounts of CPU (2 - 25%, with momentary spikes to 80%

    What should I do?

    Thanks,
    Craig

    Thanks. That did the trick

    Thanks!
It seems that I needed to install some drivers and this is what hung step 4 up.
    Thanks!

You should document ctrl+option+cmd+R somewhere. My system hung on a reboot (network drive unavailable) proceeding from step 2 to step 4. I had to click on a button and installation continued without hazzle. Just add a button or a small hint somewhere that there is a way to see the windows screen while the update runs.
