    Hello all,

My MacBook Pro (22-month old)'s logic board is getting replaced - I was wondering if anyone had any experience in how this will affect the Parallels? I've got a Windows XP Home OEM version installed using Parallels...

    Thanks very much in advance,

    Anna

I would say that as long as the hard disk is not being replaced all that you might need (not necessarily) is to reinstall Parallels Desktop application afterwards.

If the hard disk would be replaced or erased then I would suggest to make sure that you have your Parallels license key available. If there is no box or you did not register on our site, the following article would be useful: http://kb.parallels.com/4661

    Dear desgael,

Thanks very much for your reply - and I apologise for my late reply. Of course I didn't have a computer to access the forum once I've posted the question and I was out of country for a while.

    Thanks again,

    Anna
