I'm trying to create a new VM using the wizard and install Vista Business from an ISO. The install starts off fine, but it never completes. I've given the install over an hour, but it's stalled at the "Completing Installation ..." phase. The VM is not locked-up, because the ., .., ... ellipsis keep advancing and the standard Mac "Progress spinner" keeps spinning. It also doesn't appear to be a general VM creation issue, because I can create Android and Ubuntu VM's. I'm using an ISO made from a Dell Vista Business CD. I'm using the Windows Key from my dead Dell Laptop and installing on my MBP running 10.8.2 I'm using Parallels Desktop 8 in eval mode, because I'm not going to purchase the upgrade from Parallels Desktop 5 if I cannot get Vista running.
