Is it now safe to do an Vista SP1 upgrade or install, inside parallels 4, using a bootcamp volume? I think with version 3 the recommendation was to do the vista upgrade from within bootcamp?
Hello, it is still very recommendable to upgrade to Vista while booting natively with Boot Camp. You should also be aware that for proper use of the Boot Camp based virtual machine in Parallels Desktop 4, you should change the OS type to Vista, as explained in this article: http://kb.parallels.com/en/5768
