Hello, I installed Vista Business with no problmes, then I installed Norton Antivirus, Quicken 2008 and Office 2003. After everything was installed and working, I shut down the vm. Later I tried to start the vista vm but the only thing I see is the windows bar going from right to left, some hd activity and 10 seconds later no hd activity, if I try to shut down or quit the vm, parallels crashes. And idea how to fix this without reinstalling everything???

    Thanks

My personal view (and experience) is the Norton tends to muck things up. If you have not tried to boot from the Vista DVD and repair the Vista install, I would. You need to change your settings in the VM so that it will look to boot first from the CD/DVD Drive. Then when you start the VM, a command line will come up asking you to hit any key to boot from the CD/DVD drive. Then, pick your language and on the next screen, look for the option to repair. On my Vista version, it was a small text link at the bottom left-hand corner.
