I've been using Vista in Parallels on a new Mac Book Pro, and things were going very well until last night. I installed a new firmware update for the Mac (just a coincidence??) and now the VM freezes during boot up, and freezes Mac OS as well (I need to do a hard reboot). When I try to start in safe mode, it gets to crcdisk.sys and stops. When I try to start it with bootcamp, the same thing happens. I've found other people with Vista/crcdisk problems, but none of their proposed solutions work or are applicable for me. I've tried disabling hardware in the VM configuration, lowering memory, etc. Same result... Any suggestions? Thanks!
