I'd like to share my project's source code between mac and windows using Parallels shared folders. However, when I try and access a shared folder using the open dialog in VS 2005 I get the following VS alert

"You do not have access to the folder "\\.PSF\Projects". See your administrator for access to this folder."

If I dismiss this alert, exit VS 2005 and attempt to navigate into the shared folder via the desktop shortcut I now get

"\\.PSF\Projects is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The request is not supported."

I'm forced to reboot if I want to get shared folder access back.

Is sharing a massive folder (5 - 10gb) for the purpose of compiling between OS's a reasonable request for parallels shared folders? Or would windows compile performance take such a hit that you'd be better off just having your project's code on the virtual partition?
