Today I downloaded and installed Vista SP1 x86 from MSDN...
    I am running a MacBook Pro, 10.5.2 on a 2.2Ghz Core 2 Duo with 4GB Memory, 200GB disk with three partitions(OS X System, Vista, Fat32 Data)
In my configuration Vista is natively installed on disk0s3, Parallels is configured to use that disk or my Vista VM. This worked flawlessly until after applying SP1 in native Vista.

    Here was my process today:
    1. I noticed parallels had an update so I installed the current Build 5584, started the Vista VM and installed Parallels Tools, rebooted, verified everything was OK.
    2. Rebooted into Native Vista and ran the SP1 update, which rebooted the system several times and took quite awhile.
    3. Everything seemed OK with Native Vista so I booted into OS X.
    4. When I started the Parallels VM It started to boot and then died(powered off/Crashed). Now when I start the VM I get: "Windows failed to start" warning screen, start Safe Mode, Last Known Good, etc. No matter which i choose Vista still dies.

I already tried creating another VM in Parallels but when started it dies too. I am hoping there is an easy fix that does not involve using the Vista repair DVD

    Thanks,
