When I place the Windows XP disc into my new iMac to create the VM using Parallels, I get the error, "PC System not supported. Press any key to continue."

I chose the recommended install option, and the product key is typed in correctly.

Anyone else out there with this problem? Any work-arounds or solutions?

    Thanks.

How does one discern whether 32 or 64 bit? In layman's terms, what's the difference (besides the extra 32 bits)? What do 32 extra bits mean?

Heh heh. It deals with how the processor works. Ho yeah: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/64_bit

First result on a google search.

Anyways, it should say '64-bit edition' on the CD. You really can't use a 64-bit OS on a 32-bit architecture... Its... sorta... impossible if you understand how things work. If you have questions that that article and your google searches cannot answer, let us know.
