Spent several hours today _carefully_ moving and upgrading a virtual machine (Win 7), related programs and files, from one machine to another.

I was running Parallels 5 in "Window" mode, and had several program open on the VM. While using the Magic Mouse to adjust the location of the VM window, the VM slipped off the window and onto the OS X.6.2 desktop.

Certainly moving the window shouldn't have caused the VM to lose its footing!

The VM gave off a quick error message, then immediately closed, leaving only the small VM selector window open on the desktop. A question mark appeared where the Win7 icon should have been.

I tried to drag the desktop icon back to that small selector window; which created the appearance of a second Win7 VM.

The whole system (OS X.6.2 and Win 7) is now unstable.

Was already under a tight window to return the old machine and activate windows. Now I'm tired and angry.

Had been trying to contact Parallels by phone regarding another matter without much success. Now this. A very unhappy camper here. -mbm
