Long time user of VMware and wanted to see who was supporting Snow Leopard better. Supposedly Parallels is. Decided on cracking open the Parallels 4 software I never used to give it a whirl. Downloaded latest build from website. Installed...no problems so far.

Before starting Transporter, I uninstalled VMware Tools and my anti-virus software. Shut down guest OS. Started Transporter and selected Fusion VM (which is a Win XP install) to migrate. Error pops up saying cannot detect OS installed do I want to convert to a data file (or something like that). Click continue it says success. Go to where the data file is supposed to be and nothing is there. I have tried twice.

I have searched and found some others who have the issue but not resolved (some are old posts). Tried to call tech support...WHAT...I have to pay for something that isn't even functioning? Online chat is off...so here I post to see if someone can help me.

Is this supposed to work this way? All documentation indicates I should be able to migrate my VMware VM to Parallels...doesn't seem to work though.
