I would like to remote my laptop running Windows 7 using Access from my iPad. On the host machine, within Windows, I am hosting the Windows application VMWare Workstation 9.0.3. Access from the iPad does not seem to work with VMWare Workstation. For example, if I open a VMWare machine withing VMWare Workstation running Windows 8, I was not able to type in the address bar or anywhere in the virtual machine. The only letter keys I found to work was , and . The two keys produces c and z respectively. Additionally, the VMWare application quickly became unusable from the iPad. The sizing and controlling of the VMWare host application became unusable until I disconnected and used the mouse on the host PC. -Todd
Try putting PA into mouse mode instead of touch mode. I need to do some more testing for myself with VMWare, cause if Parallels keeps going the way they are, I may switch back.
