    With build 1910 and 1918 ...
When windows starts up it takes control of my main volume (mac os) - cranks it then drops it (so if you're listening to music when you start up the windows vd then it substitutes for coffee - with the jolt you get from the volume change. Muting out the volume in windows did nothing and muting the volume on the parallels window caused parallels to crash with every windows restart, shutdown or log off.

When I start a Win XP Pro VM, my Mac volume goes to about 75% and stays there until I move it back down.

Yeah, whats with the volume thing? I don't have the crashing, but why does Parallels need to adjust the volume on startup anyway?
