Hi, I'm using Parallels for Mac 4560, running Windows XP, on a MacBook Pro. When at home I connect through Cabel connection and VPN to my internet provider. I figured setting the VM to "shared networking" should be enough, as the NAT should forward traffic from the VM to the VPN. However, there is a problem. In Windows XP, I get DNS and I can ping properly, but no other communication works (explorer, messenger, etc...) I'm assuming that the NAT and shared networking is working on some level since the ping and DNS works, but I can't figure out what the problem is. My XP connection is set to do everything automatic. I tried playing with the MTU in the registry of XP (I saw someone mentioned it in a post on the forum), but that didn't help either.
