Hi guys, I'm currently using the trial version of parallels 6 to determine whether i should buy it. The primary reason is to play Warcraft 3, to play DotA. However, whenever i try to run it it gives me a error stating directx 8.1 or up is required to be installed. I have installed directx 9 with the same issue. I then realised it was probably a graphics issue to do with the required graphics. I was just wondering whether there is any work around as it appears that parallels seems to run other games fine these days. BTW. before people say "just run war3 on mac" etc, i need to run it on windows as i play on Bored Aussie which doesnt support apple Macs. Also, i am running an old Macbook Intel Core Duo 1.83, 2gb Ram and a crappy 50gb HDD. Thanks for any help guys... so frustrated.
