    Hello Everyone,

so I have loaded 2x app server SMB on a clean installation of Windows Server 2k3 R2 32bit and have also installed webportal on same server. I changed the default website from IIS to another port so that 2x gateway can take default port 80. When installing the web portal it runs on port 81 (default) with out issues. Internally to my network everything works perfectly both 2x client and webportal. Externally the 2x client works with out issues. The major problem I am having is getting the web portal to work externally I can login and get applist but when I try to launch an app I get the dreaded 02/00000006 error code. I have been all over this forum and have tried all suggestions listed on this forum with out success. So I just wanted to see if there is someone out there that has both client and webportal working externally and if so maybe we can compare settings to see what the heck I am missing. So far I am testing 2x app server and I like everything about except webportal issue. Also this is a show stopper if I cannot get this working I will have to explore other options. Before I got to that point I figured I would post to see if anyone had some suggestions.

    Thanks!!

Geez!!! I was hoping to get more of a response than some generic post to information I have already read through and tried and have not been able to make this work successfully. Seeing the lack of response I have recieved tells me one of two things not many people are using this application or have even heard of it or this issue is common and there is no fix for it. Either way I am not impressed with response.

Off to other options I go!!!!!!

In the portal settings select over ride client settings and use the externally available ip / DNS to locate your gateway.
It's most probably set up using the internal settings so not available to clients from the outside bounds of your NAT / DMZ.

    To trouble shoot it
install the 2X client and set up the connectino for the client manually to test then use these settings in the Web portal to force clients to go there for a connectino .
    Thanks
