Not a mis-print. I CAN ping and connect to VM running Ubuntu using Macbook Pro over WIRELESS network. I CAN'T connect or even ping using MacPro (a second Mac, not the Mac running Parallels) connected to router via ethernet cable. I CAN connect to VM from MacPro that's actually running Parallels. There are lots of threads about the opposite, being able to connect wired but not wirelessly. When I plug the laptop in to the router using ethernet cable and turn off wireless, it can no longer ping or connect. I am baffled! VM running in bridged mode. Any help or suggestions appreciated.
You are using bridge mode that's fine but please be inform that wireless adapter can't work you host and guest simultaneously. So you need another USB/SATA wireless adapter for your guest OS. Then DHCP server will asign a IP address to you guest machine and you can enjoy internet. _________________ SakibS
