What a mess!

Yesterday I tried to use Parallels with Win 8 for the first time in a few months. Here are the problems I encountered, beginning with the most recent. Any advice? I'm thinking of going back to VM ware...


1. Now Parallels says I need to give the partition more space. I had just followed its prompt before that when it said I could free up more space.
2. Before that, I couldn't re-install the Parallels toolbox.
3. Before that, I couldn't access the Internet from my virtual machine (Win 8)
4. Before that, I lost my Win 8 application when I refreshed the virtual machine.

Sigh.
