What is the least amount of upgrading that I need?

I need to get Microsoft Quickbooks onto my Mac OS X. I own and have installed Parallels first edition, Microsoft XP, and Quickbooks 2008. The problem is that I cannot get the virtual PC to recognize the USB port to transfer Quickbooks data. Every time I try connecting a USB card with my current quickbooks data it comes up with this message; "USB device you are trying to connect to the virtual machine is being used by another process. Wait 5-10 seconds, then try to connect the device again. If this does not help, find the application that blocked up the device and disconnect it manually." It come up when I try to connect to any of the USB options.
I tried connecting the virtual PC to the wireless to see if I can transfer Quickbooks data through that route but the virtual PC won't pick up the wireless either.

I only need to use Quickbooks on my virtual PC, nothing else.

    Any recommendations?
