So I've bought my new Intel MacBook, I've bought Parallels Desktop for Mac and I'm ready to go (although I haven't installed it).

My question - which flavour of Windows should I get and which is the lightest/most slimline possible to install? From past experience as a Windows user, I'm concerned about letting all that bloatware on to my nice new laptop. I surely don't need the whole thing when all I'm going to want to do is switch to Internet Explorer every once in a while and use BBC iPlayer and other TV sites.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I suppose, XP is the most suitable one. We tried to achieve highest possible optimization and speed results for XP in our current version.

    Best regards,
    Alicia.

I would say XP. Vista mainly just has better graphics, and costs a whole lot more, and taxes your computers resources a whole lot more.
