    Hello
I've installed openSUSE as a VM (with an expanding virtual hard disk) and deleted the folder again (named Suse Linux, located in documents/parallels, I just moved it to the bin). Now the HD of my MacBook has less GB available than before. Do you know how I can restore the missing GB???... I know I should have deleted the VM via the menu of parallels, but know it's to late...
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

To find the big files you can use Spotlight. Just press Command+F in Finder, select Computer, change Kind menu to Size, change KB to MB, type 50 Mb in the input field.

Also, if you know where is your file located in hidden directory just open Finder's window, press Coammnd+Shift+G, type the folder location (ex. /usr/local/bin) and press Enter.
