Ive tried, without success, to delete some old Windows/Word documents. I get the message, access denied, file is write protected or in use. In Properties, the file does not say read only, although the folder does. (A MS kb article says that a read only folder does not make the files within it, read only.) Is there something else that is preventing deletion? Is the file in use, because it is shared? I was able to delete a another, recent, Word document today.
