I'm a happy camper with my Parallels but I keep being encouraged to upgrade to 3.0. I don't play games I just use a couple of databases on the Windows side. Is there a real good reason I should upgrade? I'm always afraid of fixing something if it's not broke. Thanks.

Long term, you will be glad to have 3.0 because of better Vista support. However, there is absolutely no rush if things are working for you now.

If you don't run vista or 3d games, no need. Except, the snapshot tool may be helpful if you ever mess up your virtual Windows. Many people have problems with version 3, so maybe you want to wait for another build.

There are three major features in 3.0: Linux tools, Snapshots, and 3D support. If you don't need any of them, don't upgrade. 3.0 is less stable than 2.5 at this time. Wait for the next service build.
