Win 7/8 - unable to control+click when remapping control -> command

Running Parallels 8.0.18354-823166, OS X 10.8.2

Wondering if anyone else is running into this.

Since upgrading to 18354, I am unable to get control + click (to select multiple items) to work in either Windows 7 (HP) or Windows 8 Pro. This was working fine in 8.0.18314 (and works fine if I revert to that version).

However this is ONLY the case when I remap the control key to COMMAND (i.e., I am holding the physical command key to emulate the control key in windows). If I remap control to another key (such as left shift), selecting multiple items works fine, but not when I remap control to command.

To add to this, control+click seems to work if I hold down BOTH command keys and then click (again, this is with control remapped to command), but NOT if I only hold down one of the two command keys.

In preferences:
"Send system shortcuts" is set to "Always", and the mouse shortcuts have been disabled (unchecked).

I've tried this on two different computers to no avail. For now I have to revert to 18354.

If this is a bug, certainly hoping it gets fixed in the next revision.

I submitted this issue to development and they are working on a fix. Stay tunes and keep your Parallels Desktop updated - the problem should be gone in one of upcoming Parallels Desktop releases.
