Win XP start loading, then goes black

Running parallels desktop (macbook Pro 2ghz intel) for a few months, loving it!

today I got a chkdisk and after it was done it stopped loading and went black, i stopped and started parallels again, windows started loading, when the login screen should appear it just went black again ...

I have no problems reinstalling XP BUT ... I have some importain psd files etc. on my XP i really need badly, please tell me i can extract them from my .hdd or something - or any tips on how i can get them

 

Shouldn't be a problem. Create a new VM, or restore a backup to a different location, and attach your current .hdd file as a second hard disk. Start the new VM and you should see your old disk as drive D. Copy files as needed to C.
