I recently moved back to the Mac and I've licensed Parallels Desktop 19, Pro Edition. I have a physical Windows 10 machine that I am replacing and I want to keep a copy of that machine in a Parallels Virtual Machine. I have the Windows 10 installer on a thumb drive that I've used to build physical boxes. But when I try to create a Win10 virtual machine the thumb drive's setup is not recognized. Doing some digging I saw knowledge articles about a Win10 virtual image requiring a special version for the emulated ARM processor in Parallels but MS is no longer providing it. Does anyone know where I can get the Win10 image to build the virtual machine? Would it be possible to build a Win11 virtual machine and do a migrate/upgrade from the physical machine?
