Group, I have 'transported' a Win2K image from an old laptop to parallels. Everytime I boot it, it crashes after booting (on the login screen). I discovered that it works fine if I boot in 'VGA Mode' from the Windows Boot Option. Having read several threads on graphics, I tried reducing the resolution to 800x600 and 256 colors but to no avail - it still crashes on the login screen. The only way to boot it stably is to choose 'VGA Mode' from the boot options. I have also re-installed Parallels Tools from the image on my Mac but to no avail. I'm running build 3188 - the most recent, I think. Any gurus out there with any ideas? Thanks Jim
