I have downloaded the new Parallels 11 version of the Transporter Agent onto my Windows 10 desktop PC. It will not install however do to a message that says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.". I cannot figure out how to make the application install run. I am the system administrator and am logged in as such. I've never had an application not want to install before. Obviously, without this it is stopping me from getting Windows setup on my new iMac. Can you help me with what to do to resolve this and to get the Transporter Agent working?
Hi AnthonyO1, Please follow the steps suggested below: Download Parallels Transporter Agent for Windows from: http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/download/ Right-click on the downloaded file, and then click Properties. Click the Security tab. Under Group or User names, click your name to see the permissions you have. Click Edit, and then click to check the check boxes for the permissions that you need, and then click OK. Now Right-click on the downloaded file again and click run as administrator to install it.
