I forgot to mention that I already have it(for almost a month), but I am with Microsoft Insider account.
Sadly I can't edit my previous post, thus leaving new one with screenshot attached.

While that is true, the blog post said that users who want to update can do so now via Windows Update. For users who don't search for the update, it will indeed be released in stages.
This is possible. The blog post includes this passage: „If we detect that your device may have an issue, such as an application incompatibility, we may put a safeguard hold in place and not offer the update until that issue is resolved."
However, like you said, the update has been available to Insiders for a while and there don't seem to be any incompatibilities.

I just did an update and still on 21H2. Have not tried your manual way of doing the update. My last update was on 9/22/22
2022-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for arm64-based Systems (KB5017383)

I've got the same problem here. Running 21H2 just fine on Parallels18 (M1 MBP). But no update's showing up.

My system is still on Windows 11 21H2. I checked my system with Microsoft PC Health Check App and the result was "This PC does not currently meet Windows 11 system requirements." "Apple Silicon is not supported in Windows 11." (My Windows is Japanese environment)

Do you have a link? I can't find a download for ARM.

Yes, going back to the Insider Program seems to be the only way to update to 22H2 for now. For some reason the Release Preview Channel (which has build 22621.607) at first doesn't offer an update either. I guess whatever MS does to block the update applies to the Release Preview Channel too. But the Beta Channel let me download build 22621.601. After installing that build I was able to switch to the Release Preview Channel and download build 22621.607. After that I left the Insider Program again and should be back on the Retail Channel with the next update. Microsoft sure likes to make things unnecessarily difficult.

Awesome! Works for me as well. Thanks for the workaround! :)

Does anyone know of an important reason to try to get the 21H2 to 22H2 update? I am still on the earlier version and don't really want to start messing around with the Insider Program again. Thanks.

One big improvement I noticed is that videos purchased on XBox can now be played on the Movies & TV app. That wasn't working for me previously. As for the Insider Program, I would have preferred to avoid it, but at least it's not necessary to use the Dev Channel and it's much easier to get back to the Retail Channel from the Beta Channel.

Well, yes, obviously. But as of yesterday the 22H2 update didn't show up then unless you use the Insider Program. Did that change now?

Haven't checked today yet, be interesting if it comes up through the normal "windows update". Will check it out later.

I feel like an idiot. I actually received the update for 22H2 on my Windows Update under 21H2 this afternoon. I downloaded it while away from home and then tried to install once I got home. It got to 84% after an install and then froze. I thought it might be because I was (unfortunately) running on battery and my VM went into suspend during the install process after a reboot in the RM. I ended up having to use "reset" from the Parallels VM menu in order to rollback the install and go back to the 21H2 version (build 22000.1042 of Windows 11 Pro on Parallels 18.0.2 Pro version). When I rebooted on the rollback, it showed the "update and install" again in the Windows update, but when trying to click on it, it got stuck at 0% trying to redownload at this point and would not progress any further. I ran the option update repair tool and even cleared my cache by stopping and restarting the services.msc and rebooting the VM. The update simply will NOT show up again at all.

By the way, I left the Insider program many months ago once the version of windows 11 ARM seemed stable and had continued to receive the feature updates. That means this update did show up without being in the Insider Progarm anymore. Apparently, the Arm version by the MS website for downloading the ISO says you can only get the update when it is pushed to you. The "Windows 11 ISO (all versions) won't work for the ARM install. I'm going to wait a few days before I give it another try at this point. I really don't want to have to reenroll in the Insider Version to have the Arm 22h2 show up again in my windows update.

I don't know if this helps, but it is my experience.

I am still showing 21H2 in settings and no update aside from basic things like Anti Virus and MS Net stuff. I have no desire to start playing around with the Insider Program, so I guess patience is the keyword for me.

@MichaelH63 How did you get back into the Insider program (or had you never left?). I switched the retail channel ages ago (once Win11 on M1 was stable) and now I try to go back into the program to select Dev or Beta channel and can no longer do so from the release channel. I repeatedly get a "something went wrong" error and the deadly 0x80004005 error code. I've repaired windows update too by the cache and the troubleshooter and have had no updates since the 'failed' install of 22H2 the other day. I've currently got Windows 11 Pro 21H2 Build 22000.1042 and Experience pack 1000.22000.1042.0

The last update shows the following after I had to do the 'reset' due to the crashed 22h2 install (both installed on 9/23/22).

    2022-09 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11 for ARM64 (KB5017859)
2022-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for arm64-based Systems (KB5017383)

full copy info from my original installs:

    Edition Windows 11 Pro
    Version 21H2
    Installed on ‎6/‎28/‎2021
    OS build 22000.1042
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.1042.0

Beginning to wonder if I have to scrap the whole thing and reinstall 'Windows 11" from scratch in Parallels 18.0.2.

You got any ideas as I see you are on 22H2 through the Insider Preview and I can't seem to get that to load back in anymore.

You had any luck yet? On an unrelated note, I saw there was an update for the Xbox app again and since then, the "my library" won't load and "previously run" stalls out loading. I've reset gaming services and refreshed/reset both the XBox app and Gaminig services through the apps settings. I'm beginning to feel like MS has locked us out of Feature updates now if on Silicon and no longer in the Insider Dev or Beta channels.
