I have a Windows 11 VM that runs great for everything I've done in terms of integration with my host Mac / Parallels integration. However, when I copy some source code, about 600 files and about 200KB total, the copy process starts inside Windows then it just hangs... Yesterday, before I discovered this problem I had dropped a file folder from Mac to Win that had over a GB of data and the OS completely locked and even forcing a Restart in Parallels would not work. Eventually, I had to reboot the host and force quit Parallels....

So, seems the problem could very well be both on the Parallels side and within Windows itself. But, other than resorting to copying files from host to cloud and from cloud down to guest, is there actually a reliable way to move files between Win 11 ARM with a Mac host?

Nothing yet.... I'll test again now that I've upgraded to the latest version. LMK if you find something... I used to see this behavior in Windoze back in the day over network mounted drives so it's some type of ancient bug in Windows I'm sure. Like all the others they never seem to fix... But, hopefully it'll improve. If not, maybe I'll find a workaround and drop it here if so...

one more thing need to mention, i am not
copy paste into Windows VM any files, just switch to other mac desktop to do other thing when switch back Parallels win11 desktop, can't do any thing until unfreeze
in win 11 only open several excel sheet and pdf and VScode and give 8 CPU & 40 GB Memory in Parallels setting Hardware-- CPU & Memory page

    Yes Parallels v19.

I don't have time to go into your software and open a ticket and do the exact same steps that I listed above. That's your job. The details to repro and QA this issue are listed in this post. I'm not sure you guys realize you SELL software...? And, therefore have to QA it and repro issues yourself? I'm not doing it again. In case you didn't read my post, when I follow those steps Parallel hangs my host PC and forced me to hard reset/reboot...

Parallels is not free open source... When your customer lists a bug and attaches screenshots in your support forum then it's up to your team to triage and address. Most likely this is a Windows file system driver issue but only testing on your side would prove that or not... But, no, I won't be opening a ticket and going through all the steps again...
