I'm trying to activate Windows 11 using my Microsoft account (IT managed), and when I enter in my password after using the "I changed hardware on this device recently" method, I get an error saying that my account has had too many log in attempts and my account has been frozen. When I try to use the "It's all here with Microsoft account" in Settings > Home, I get the same error. When I started Microsoft Office after trying these steps, I was able to log into my account using the same credentials with no problem. I need to find a way to activate Windows 11 Pro using my Microsoft account. I have a Microsoft 365 Business Premium license, so that shouldn't be an issue.
SOLVED: I had to reset my password when trying to activate Windows 11, then go through the process without using MFA.
