I am running Windows 7 64-bit under Parallels build 6.0.11828.

From time to time for no particular reason (i.e. no Windows application is causing a "hung state") my desktop just freezes and does not respond to any keystrokes/mouse clicks. The only way to recover is a reboot where I get the traditional Windows screen about a failure etc.

I am running a Macbook Pro with 8GB RAM, 2.8Ghz i7 process and 512GB SSD.

I use Diskeeper to defrag the virtual machine (in Windows)

Similar setup with 32 bit Windows 7 Ultimate and 320 Gb disc drive, but it seems only to happen when awaking from sleep.
Using System Mechanic as system utility.
