Forgive the possible FAQ, but I've searched for about an hour and can't find this question/answer anywhere on the site.

I have Windows 7 Professional running as a guest under Parallels 6 (build 6.0.11828) on a 2010 Macbook Pro running OS X 10.6.4.

I want to run Windows 7 in full-screen mode and have it appear as if it were running "native" on the machine. However, the window GUI elements (close box, minimize/maximize, shrink) always show as Mac elements (red, yellow, green buttons). I'd like everything to appear as Windows-only. Is there a setting to do this?

I need to run demos using a Windows client. I do not want the customer to see that I am running on a Mac (my demos are via webinar).

    TIA.

In the Parallels Desktop View menu, deselect the "Use MacLook" option.

The next time you create a virtual machine, use the "Like a PC" option.

Thank you. I did create a new VM (for a variety of reasons) and made this choice. It worked. I'll have to try your first suggestion on the older VM -- I was quite certain this option was not irreversible. But I could have been mistaken.

    The options are reversible.
