Using Windows 7 with Parallels 8.0.18354. Windows started an update that got interrupted in spite of the message not to turn the computer off. On restart, Windows is hanging while 'Preparing Your Desktop' (over an hour with no diagnostics or progress indicators). I'm hesitant to do anything. Should I 'stop' Windows 7 and restart? Or...... Hopefully I'm not dead in the water. Please advise.
