Hi I have a new macbook air running mountain lion and Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac build 7.0.15104 revission 778994 july 10 2012). I use PD to run windows 7 enterprise on my mac for work. I'm still really new at this but it's worked great with only one or two issues. Most of them i can live with except most of my windows icons are the generic icon that looks like an install window (little grey box with a smaller green box inside on the left). It's driving me crazy becuase i can't tell what types of programs i'm looking at in explorer or in the task bar. I have to hover over them to see what they are in aero. I've gone through all of the preferences and options and just reinstalled PD tools but so far nothing has helped. I have been googling and checking the forums for days, but haven't found a case of someone else having this issue. Any suggestions on how i might fix this? thanks in advance for your help!
