Hi, I have a macbook pro retina, 13-inch with 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5, memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 768 MB and OS X 10.8.4. Anti virus I am using is Avast and I have parallels for mac version 8 installed which was working ok until yesterday besides the number of viruses reported by Avast and moved to the virus chest. Since yesterday all I get is a black screen when starting and no windows 7 which was working fine before. I have uninstalled parallels and reinstalled with no result and when trying to install windows 7 over the old version nothing happens. Tried to call parallels for technical support and was told there would be a 10 minute waiting time once I got connected, been waiting for an hour and besides the pleasant background music there was no response. Would really need some help to get out of this mess.
