Hi there, I've just installed Parallels on my iMac i7. Now I want to install Windows 7 but on my external USB SSD drive.
Is this possible without any problems?

The Virtual Machine Assistant asks for the Location and Sharing! I just don't want any Windows files on my Macintosh HD so how should I set the Sharing!?

    Thanks for the help

    Hi Marcoru,
this should be possible. Select Custom install option and on the Name and Location screen specify location on the attached USB drive.

Would it be faster to run off a fresh install on the SSD or would it be the same speed as just copying a current Parallel's image onto the SSD and telling Parallel's where to find it?
