Hi all I have installed the latest Doctor Who game on my mac under parallels. I have Windows 7 under parallels. What I am not sure about is that I have set up 2 gig for Win7, but still the game is really jerky and the sound is glitchy. I checked the games recommendations and assume they are up to speed on my late 2009 MacBook Pro with 4 gig. Strange thing is my sons Dell laptop that runs Xp and is about 4 years old plays the game much better and it is UNDER the recommendation. ANy ideas how to fix this issue? I have the latest Parallels updates and current OSX etc Thanks
Do you have graphics set to higher performance in System Preferences? http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3207 Increase the VRAM to the maximum 256 MB and turn on 3D acceleration in Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Hardware -> Video. If that doesn't help, then try turning off 3D acceleration. Also play with the Vertical Synchronization option. For games, you'll get more performance using Boot Camp instead of Parallels.
