For the past three days, when I click on All My Files in Finder (iMac, 10.7.4), sorted by Date, I see the file Windows 7.pvm under 'Today's files'. I also see loads of temporary Windows files (mainly Word but also others) listed with a greyed out square icon with rounded corners and a dotted line round it going back 3 days. These are obviously temporary versions of files I have been working on under Windows in Parallels.

Before this started happening 3 days ago, the Windows 7.pvm file never showed up under Today's files, and temporary files were not visible in Finder. Or at least if they were, i.e. while a document was open in Word, the temporary file disappeared as soon as I closed the file concerned. Now they don't disappear from Finder when Word or the Windows application is closed.

Double clicking on one of these files tells me that the original item of this alias can't be found. So the temporary files are disappearing off the Windows side but are being left in the Apple Finder. Interestingly, the temporary files do not show up in any other view in Finder except All My Files and are not visible in my document folders.

Apple couldn't help as these are Windows temp files.

    Anyone else noticed this?
