I have a Macbook Pro without a disc drive and a licensed version of Windows 7 but it is an upgrade disc. How can I install Parallels 9 on my computer as I never get prompted to put in an older disc to show that I can use the upgrade? Do I have to install XP or Vista and then do an upgrade?

    Thanks

    Hi laplaw,

To install Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac, follow this article: http://kb.parallels.com/116989

To upgrade to Windows 7 you would need to have a existing installation of Windows XP or Vista as a Virtual Machine.

    Thanks,
    Looran
