    Good afternoon,

I have a VM setup with windows 8.1 on my MacBook Pro 13"(2015) with specific purpose of opening a website for work that uses Java and ONLY above mentioned version. I have tried everything and cannot get Java to play nice. I migrated the VM from a laptop with 8.1 and the Java and version was working properly on it before migration.

When I go to open internet explorer on VM and navigate to the website and attempt to load it I get 2 errors. One in middle of screen saying Java is not found. And a error at bottom saying it is outdated version of java(which I want). When I click ok on error on center of screen saying it's not installed it clears out error on bottom of screen. On my actual macbook I have newest java(if it matters) and not specific version I need(site will only work in IE).

What am I going to have to do to get it to work properly? Called parallels and spent a hour with tech support remoted into macbook messing with it. Java does seem to be recognized doing Browser test but unsure if it's trying to use version on macbook in windows or what? Tech support reinstalled and installed a bunch of times and played with settings all to no avail.

I would appreciate any help. Being able to do my work on MacBook would be really helpful.

    Thanks,

    Blaine
