Ok, I will try to give as much details as I can, and I will answer questions as I can. Installed Windows 8 in boot camp, and did an upgrade with the RTM of 8.1 ISO and worked properly in Boot Camp. Now, when I boot back into Mac OS, and open parallels, parallels will not allow me to setup a VM via the boot camp partition. I setup a new VM via disk, and tell it to continue without disk, and after it is setup, I can change the source disk to the boot camp partition. During startup, it give me the setting up Windows where I can't see the guest OS boot, but after a period of time it allows me to "log in" to the guest os, however it is sitting at the repair OS screen for windows 8, and it says it can't auto repair the OS. Looked at the log file and it was a problem with prl_pv64.sys. If i shutdown mac os and go into boot camp, the OS is messed up there too and won't boot. If I do a system restore in boot camp, it will repair it there, however once I try to get it in parallels again, does the same thing as above. Now, I did the system reinstall via parallels, installed parallel tools, and windows 8.1 works fine in parallels and works fine in boot camp too. Is this a bug that I've found or did I screw something up otherwise?
