I have installed Windows 8 upgrade over Vista VM. Every time I start up the windows 8 vm by clicking on "click to start" it runs for a couple of seconds and then returns to the startup screen. If I then click a second time on "click to start" it starts up and runs successfully. After startup it displays a message "Your PC ran into a problem" which caused the PC to restart...
Anyone else have this experience?
NOTE: I have figured out what the problem was, when I upgraded to windows 8 from vista, parallels didn't change the type of vm (it remained as windows vista) - when I updated the vm's preference to be Windows 8 then the shutdown started working properly.
