The windows 8 preview which Parallels touts on their sale site is horrible broken. I have tried several times and always get the following. I go to add a new machine and pick the windows 8 preview. I fill in all my parallels options for the windows 8 guest I am about to download. Mostly, I keep defaults. I start the download, which is a little over 3 GB. Parallels verifies the desktop and gives this nauseous message: The operating system image may have been damaged during this operation (just downloading the freaking thing from parallels!) try again or close. I've tried several times now with the same results. What IDIOTS you are Parallels. You put a big splash on your sales screen for the product that it comes with windows 8 preview, but you can't even freaking download it. Can someone e tell me what's going on or give me a link to download the developer preview manually. It appears parallels is too stupid to get it right.
