Windows Can't Access Internet When Using Google Pixel 2 Hotspot

I recently changed my iPhone for a Google Pixel 2 and now I can't get my Windows 10 Parallels VM to access the internet when using the Google Pixel 2's hotspot.

Internet access was fine when using my iPhone's hotspot, and Wi-Fi connectivity is fine.

I've checked a number of settings on my Google Pixel 2 and nothing obvious seems to be blocking the Windows VM from using it's hotspot.

Any help would be appreciated

 

Found the answer.

Go to the VMs network settings and change it from the default: Shred Network (recommended) to Bridged > Wi-Fi
