My mac crashed and after it rebooted itself, I was not able to boot my winodws 7 via Parallels (windows7 keeps trying to fix itself, but fail). I used time machine to locat an older version of my windows7.pvm file. After restoring the file, I have the exact problem starting the older version of windows (same error). I ran the repair program a few more time and was able to finally repair windows 7. The data found my older .pvm file was from a week ago (9/15/15). I then try to do the same to restore the most recently .pvm file and the newest .pvm file.. I was able to fix those file as well; however, when reviewing my data on the newest .pvm file, it still contact data from 9/15/15 instead of 9/21/15 (day that my computer crashed). I also copy the same .pvm file to my older MAC and once I boot up that version of windows 7, my data were a few months old (which tell me somehow my windows data is NOT being stored in the .pvm file. Please advise where the file might be stored. I have some very important and time sensitive data that I have to recover. Thank you in advance for your assistance. PS. I also try using the parallels mounter to open up the .hdd file found within the .pvm file; but it won't mount the file and keep giving me error.
